Ryan White HIV/AIDS Services
The Health Council of South East Florida works with the Palm Beach County Department of Community Services to provide a coordinated system of medical and medical support services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. As in most larger metropolitan areas, the need for HIV/AIDS is greater in Palm Beach County than in the neighboring counties to the north. Additional funding is provided by the federal government to strengthen the infrastructure for the continuum of care.
The Council closely collaborates with the County to ensure there is seamless access to medical care and supportive services. In addition the Council works to ensure quality of care and services are provided in a way to maximum service outcomes.
